Self Compassion

Mindful Practice Self Compassion

Welcome to this third audio on a Mindful Practice for dynamic leaders. Today’s Practice considers some of the benefits of Mindfulness and Self-Compassion. Many of us offer compassion to others so easily. Do we offer that same compassion to ourselves when we are hurting or in need?

The phrases shared come from a Mindful.org article titled “Self-Compassion practices to deepen your resilience”.

Mindfulness helps us to e aware of our thoughts and emotions. When we become more aware with acceptance instead of judging we find we are less anxious and less reactive in tense moments.

The final audio next week will focus on a loving-kindness meditation in remembrance of our veterans and family members who are no longer with us this Memorial Day weekend.
