With more than 20 years in the human resources field with compensation as a specialty, Stacey Etherson uses her consultative skills, gained through working in financial services, along with generalist skills gained from working with nonprofits, to show small businesses how to incorporate strategic human resources practices and tools to engage staff and grow as a company.
In 2015, Stacey earned a Master of Arts degree in Adult and Community Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and opened her business the following year with encouragement from professors and friends.
Stacey maintains certifications with Society for Human Resources Management
(SHRM-CP) and World at Work (CCP). She offers generalist human resources
consulting and training to small businesses and nonprofits. Her areas of focus tend to be policy handbooks, talent acquisition including job descriptions, performance management, coaching new supervisors, communications and compliance.
For the past year, Stacey has presented regularly as part of the Community College for Allegheny County’s Continuing Professional Education programs.
To encourage clients in Jefferson and Indiana Counties, Stacey donates 10% of the business received in these counties to the Carl A. Truance Athletic Excellence Scholarship which she created in loving memory of a great uncle who was involved in local sports much of his adult life.
